What’s New at Cast Your Anchor?

Toronto Life Magazine: Look for the September issue coming to a newsstand near you. Learn about what Cast Your Anchor has to offer and view a model from the Pothier Collection.

Kingston Road Fall Festival: Be part of our annual event on Kingston Road. Saturday October 1, 2005. Games for kids, street musicians, and much more. Great time to check out our selection of Pirate paraphernalia.

Adult Workshop: We’ve made some changes!
The interest is very high so we decided to run the workshop every Wednesday ALL YEAR ROUND. Come in and build any model you want and take as long as you want to build it. The cost is only $150. The experience is priceless!!!

Radio Control: Come and check out our new line of books dealing with the radio control hobby. We are fully stocked on radio control sail and power boats. We support the Soling and Victoria class of sailing boats. We have a full range of parts, batteries and power supplies. Have questions? – our in store technician will be happy to help.

Wanted: Cast Your Anchor would like any nautical antiques. These will be handled on a consignment basis. There is a big demand for old sailors and sailing stuff. Let us know if you have anything you want to sell.

What’s Coming

Research Library: Cast Your Anchor is establishing an in store research library for the use of our customers. Vendor catalogues, how to build books and other nautical related books are yours to enjoy.

Hobby Show: Mark November 4th 5th and 6th on your calendar for the annual Hobby Show at the International Centre. We will have both static and radio control demonstration. Stay tuned for more information.

Competition and Exhibition: Cast Your Anchor is interested to know of any modelers who would like to enter their ship in a competition. This competition would be geared to intermediate kit builders. A suitable venue and prizes would be arranged by Cast your Anchor should there be enough interest. Please contact the store.
