What’s New at Cast Your Anchor?

Model Transportation Expo: Join us Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1 at the Victoria Park Armories in Lindsay Ontario. Radio control in water display and much much more. See us for details.

Adult Workshop: A group of very enthusiaitic model builders are beavering away producing the Bluenose II. We are all having a great time and their models are taking great shape. Let us know if you want to join us in the fall for the next build. We’ll be building the Sanson Tugboat. The class is filling up quickly.

Radio Control: Come and check out our new line of books dealing with the radio control hobby. We are fully stocked on radio control sail and power boats. We support the Soling and Victoria class of sailing boats. We have a full range of parts, batteries and power supplies. Have questions? – our in store technician will be happy to help.

Nautical Gifts: Just in! For the boating enthusiast, a great selection of nautical gifts. For use onboard or for home display. Come and see our selection.

Nautical Toys: Terrific selection of nautical toys for kids. Come and see our huge Pirate selection. We have the makings for a Pirate Birthday party. Jolly Roger flags, eye patches, tattoos, pencils and much more.

What’s Coming

Kingston Road Spring Festival: Join us at the store Saturday June 4th to experience all that the upper beaches offers. Live musicians, street performers, children’s games and other special attractions and surprises. Come and enjoy the sunny day.

World’s Longest Street Festival: If you miss us Saturday, join us Sunday June 5th on Yonge Street in Aurora. There will be 500 vendors, corner bands, classic cars, buskers and clowns, food, games and rides. Come out and have a great time.

Win a Radio Control Sail Boat: Cast Your Anchor, in conjunction with Licks Restaurants will be holding a draw for a fully decked out radio control power boat “Zig Zag Racer” Watch for this promotion coming in June.

Competition and Exhibition: Cast Your Anchor is interested to know of any modelers who would like to enter their ship in a competition. This competition would be geared to intermediate kit builders. A suitable venue and prizes would be arranged by Cast your Anchor should there be enough interest. Please contact the store.
