Spring Festival: Once again Cast Your Anchor will be participating in the Kingston Road Spring Festival. There will be bands, clowns, contests and many more activities. Cast Your Anchor will be offering a no tax day on all of our radio control products. Come on down and enjoy the day with us.
Radio Control: Speaking about radio control, check out the King’s Ransom fully radio controlled Pirate Ship. Just in time for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Back by popular demand, Reef Racer, the Hammer, Victoria Sail Boat. We also have two Speed Storms left at a great price of $139.95.
Plastic Kits: Did you know that Cast Your Anchor has a great assortment of plastic kits. We are featuring the HMC Snowberry Kit by Revell. The Snowberry was a Canadian Corvette that served in the Second World War.
Wooden Kits: Cast Your Anchor has created a unique showroom of wooden model ship kits. Tugs boats, swamp buggy, steam engines, fireboat etc can be seen in our store. Of course we have the usual, tall ships, paddle wheeler, sloops and of the course the favourite Bluenose models. Our featured kit is the HMS Victory by Artesania Latina. The regular price is $1249.00 but we have one kit left at a great introductory price of $879.95.

What’s New at Cast Your Anchor?
Workshop: We have changed the format of our workshop. We will be holding a meeting the first Wednesday of every month starting at 7pm. There will be a short presentation put on by our instructor then he will be reviewing every ones project. Come on out and have some fun!

Adult Workshop: Just a reminder that our workshop is back in full swing. Come in and build any model you want and take as long as you want to build it. The cost is only $150. The experience is priceless!!!
Bluenose II: Cast Your Anchor has been able to obtain 37 pieces of the Bluenose II. In 1995, the Bluenose II Preservation Trust retrofitted some of the famous schooner. Contact Cast Your Anchor to see how you too can own a piece of true Canadian history.

Bluenose II: Cast Your Anchor has been able to obtain 37 pieces of the Bluenose II. In 1995, the Bluenose II Preservation Trust retrofitted some of the famous schooner. Contact Cast Your Anchor to see how you too can own a piece of true Canadian history.

From July 14th to 16th, OSS teams will race along the shoreline of Ontario Place at speeds upwards of 190 kilometres per hour! And Cast Your Anchor will be there. Restoration: Cast Your Anchor is heavily involved in the repair and restoration of both static and radio control models. There is always a challenge waiting for us on our work benches.

Canadian Home Workshop Show: Last weekend Cast Your Anchor participated in this trade show at the Toronto Congress Centre. It was great to see many of our customers at the show and watch all of the hands on exhibits especially the Kids Corner.
March Break: Once again Cast Your Anchor is pleased to offer Children’s Workshops during the March break. We will be build schooners, the Santa Maria and many other models. Contact the store if you would like your kids to experience the fun of ship model building.

Rockers? The deal was to good to pass up! You have heard of rocking horses. How about rocking boats, trains, cars and motorcycles. These rockers are made of maple and are exquisitely finished. Available later this month.
Finished Models: Ok, another good deal that was too good to pass up. Beautifully finished models from offshore will be available next month at the store. Instant gratification for those of us with a penchant for all things nautical.

The interest is very high so we decided to run the workshop every Wednesday ALL YEAR ROUND. Come in and build any model you want and take as long as you want to build it. The cost is only $150. Did You Know: If you have a kit under your bed and you are just not motivated to assemble it, we will sell it for you. If you treat us right, our commissions are very reasonable. Bring your unwanted kits in.

Lakeshore Boulevard Yacht Club: Join us August 13 to witness the first annual Victoria Class Regatta. Over 40 entrants are expected from across North America. If you have ever been interested in Radio Controlled sailing this will be a great event to take in.
Toronto Life Magazine: Look for the September issue coming to a newsstand near you. Learn about what Cast Your Anchor has to offer and view a model from the Pothier Collection.
Competition and Exhibition: Cast Your Anchor is interested to know of any modelers who would like to enter their ship in a competition. This competition would be geared to intermediate kit builders. A suitable venue and prizes would be arranged by Cast your Anchor should there be enough interest. Please contact the store.

Adult Workshop: We’ve made some changes!
The interest is very high so we decided to run the workshop every Wednesday ALL YEAR ROUND. Come in and build any model you want and take as long as you want to build it. The cost is only $150. The experience is priceless!!!
Specials: We are offering a hardwood tool chest for only $89.95 and the Artesania Latina kit San Giovanni Battista 1668 for only $199.95. Both of these specials offer significant savings of as much as 50%.

World’s Longest Street Festival:
If you miss us Saturday, join us Sunday June 5th on Yonge Street in Aurora. There will be 500 vendors, corner bands, classic cars, buskers and clowns, food, games and rides. Come out and have a great time.
